The Bat-Yam Design Terminal is a special social design complex established by the "Get Out of the Box" association with the support of the Bat-Yam Municipality, the National Insurance Funds, the Ministry of Health and leading business companies in the Israeli economy.
The new complex was built in a historic building that stood abandoned for years in the business area of the city, and it symbolizes the process of renewal that Shabbat Yam has been going through in recent years. Today it is an enabling space, which is shared by a designer incubator, a rehabilitation plant and a social yard, which work in synergy. In addition to the gallery for changing exhibitions, a social cafe was recently opened there and workshops are offered to the general public.
They believe that in an open-minded, supportive and creative environment people can express themselves in the best way and go through a meaningful process.
