This project deals with personal family change and how good quality interior design can change the program of an existing building so that it serves its residents. This is a private house, with two floors, in the Modi'in area, which is now owned by a retired couple. The house, which used to house a family with children, was converted into a house for a couple, thinking about comfort for the couple and the possibility to host and lodge children and grandchildren. In the planning, the ground floor was converted into the central living space with the living room, kitchen and bedroom. The upper floor of the house was dedicated to hospitality. The living room space is the center of the ground floor and its interior design is tailored exactly to the needs of the tenants. Also, a dynamic lighting design is used in the living room that changes throughout the day and actually changes the living room space and emphasizes the different uses throughout the day.
